Grandma Glo Strikes Again!
I had a great visit with my Grandma Glo last week and as usual, she sent me home with a bag of goodies! As I’ve mentioned before (I think), I have a huge crush on vintage milk glass and my collection continues to grow! I love love love the “toy top”/modern shape of this candy dish, especially next to the liquor decanters on our bar. The over sized brandy/beaujolais glass filled with wicker accent balls was also a perfect fit next to the chrome candle sticks.
Tip: It’s aways great when you can find a new use for an older or unwanted item. Mixing old and new items in your home is not only green but a great way to add character and warmth to your space. If you’re not lucky enough to have a fab Grandma Glo in your life, here are a few of my favorite spots….
Goodwill (Dublin): 6655 Sawmill Rd. Dublin, OH
Trading Post (Grandview): 1944 W. 1st Ave. Columbus, OH (My mom and I call this one the “Church Basement” as it’s literally in the basement of First Community Church.)
One More Time, Etc (Grandview): 1641 W. 5th Ave. Columbus, OH
Volunteers of America (Galloway): 5640 West Broad St. Columbus, OH
Funky and Functional (Short North): 685 N. High St. Columbus, OH
Happy Hunting!
