Simple Easter Decorations!
With the Easter weekend fast approaching I wanted to share a few quick and easy decoration ideas. I love holiday decorations but hate spending a lot on something I’ll only use a few weeks out of the year. The base of the “Easter Egg Tree” pictured is actually a decoration I keep on my bar year round which I created using a large hurricane, sand from my favorite beach (Clearwater, FL), and a little leftover curly willow and moss from our wedding flower arrangements! (I actually hang Christmas bulbs on this thing during the holiday season so it looks great and really comes in handy!) I found these metallic light weight Easter eggs at a Tuesday Morning end of season sale a few years back but you could even poke holes in the traditional plastic ones using a heated needle and create hangers using some fishing line or ribbon. The ceramic bunny was actually found at a thrift store but had a gaudy lace ribbon which I detached and replaced with this lovely satin ribbon. It’s a nice simple look and cost less than $10.00 to create!
Have a wonderful Easter weekend!
