(Almost) Perfect Match! 

As I was pulling into the parking lot of my favorite Goodwill store this afternoon, I noticed this gem of a dresser (first picture) sitting on the curb near the rear of the building. I immediately walked back to give it a once over before entering the store and realized it was an (almost) perfect match to my treasured hope chest (3rd picture) passed down to me from my Grandma Glo. Now keep in mind it had not been checked into the store and was not officially for sale but the manager came out and said she would review the item and give me a price in the next few minutes. When she finally returned she informed me that similar items were selling for around $250.00 and up but due to some obvious damage they would sell it for $75.00. SOLD! I later found out that another woman had pulled up after I went inside to wait on the manager and wanted to purchase it as well… so (fingers crossed) I’m hoping that with a little TLC this will be a beautiful (and somewhat valuable) addition to our master bedroom. 

Side Note: I also included close ups of the hardware on each piece because I feel that’s what truly ties the two together.
