I apologize (to anyone who actually reads this) for the VERY long absence. As many of you know, Rick and I packed up our life and fur babies in Columbus and moved to Chicago, IL where I’ve taken a new position and Rick is pursing a freelance web development career. We arrived in October, sold our house in Columbus a few weeks later, moved again and then the holidays hit. Somehow we’ve managed to get organized but our relatively new leather sectional would not fit through the hall of our Lincoln Park townhouse so we’ve been without a sofa for several months. After looking for quite awhile, I finally settled on the first one (pictured, from West Elm) I found (doesn’t that always happen) and I waited so long that it was on sale!! Better yet, West Elm was kind enough to send me a “Welcome to the neighborhood” 10% off coupon which knocked a nice chuck off the discounted price. Needless to say, I was thrilled and the sofa should be arriving in the next few weeks. Looking forward to more updates as I make my way through our new city!
